How does your vehicle look?
A good first impression goes a long way. Make sure your vehicle is in the best possible condition. Buyers are looking for a nice clean vehicle, inside and out.
- Don't be afraid to clean under the hood, everyone likes a clean engine.
- Vacuum the carpets and clean the windows and Mirrors.
- Inspect your vehicle; make sure it is mechanically sound. Fix your dents, polish the scratches, and give your vehicle a little wax.
- Dig out all your maintenance records and have them ready to show any buyer.
- Make sure your tires have air, including the spare tire. Are the rims clean and shiny?
These small steps may take a little time and effort and don't cost much but can make the difference in selling your car fast and for the best price.
Taking Your Photos
It is very important that you take great photos of your vehicle. A buyer will want to see the vehicle clearly and from many angles. Once you have cleaned your vehicle, get a digital camera (4 Mega Pixels or better), and make sure your settings are set to 640 Pixels.

- Take several photos of your vehicle, both inside and out.
- Make sure the Sun is at your back, not in front of you, the sun will give a lot of light reflection.
- Explore all angles of your vehicle, take a few sample photos of your vehicle, of all angles, and download them on your PC/Laptop. Review them, if you are not happy, take more, once you are satisfied that these are the photos that will sell your vehicle, keep them.
- Try not to use old photo prints. The quality of the photo is reduced after scanning.
- If you are uncomfortable with taking your own photos, we would be more than happy to come to you and take the photos for you.
